Children and Youth Ministries and Wednesday Family Nights

On Wednesday evening many in the congregation gather at 5:30 for dinner together, followed at 6:10 by a time of singing and skits all together. At the conclusion, everyone breaks into programs for individual age groups:

Pre-Adventure Club (2-4 yrs.), Adventure Club (grades K-2), Trailblazers (grades 3-5)

These children's groups rotate between gym time, art time and story time for age-appropriate activities and Bible learning.

Junior High Youth Group (grades 6-8)

This group participates in Bible study and fellowship activites, with occasional outings away from the church and two retreats a year.

Adult Book Group

This group of adults of all ages reads and discusses books chosen to enhance our Christian walk together.

Adult Text Study

This group of adults studies and discusses the Biblical text that will be used as the basis for the worship service the following Sunday.

Confirmation

This is a two-year program in which the 7th and 8th-grade students, led by members of the pastoral staff, investigate the orthodox faith and the story of the church. The students are guided through a study of the Bible and instruction in the basics of our faith. Classes begin each Fall and are conducted on Sunday evenings.

Senior High League (grades 9-12)

This program emphasizes Christian growth, fellowship, service projects, Bible study, prayer, and retreats in preparation for early adulthood. (Sunday evenings)
