Worship with us!

Sunday Morning Worship

Virtual: 10:30 a.m. on Facebook Live

In-Person:  10:30 a.m. on the Front Lawn

Please bring your own lawn chairs and find a socially distant space in front of the sanctuary doors on the lawn. A separate worship via Facebook at 10:30 a.m. and a recording will continue for those unable to attend.

Read before you come:

If you are over 65 or have any other conditions that put you at high risk for severe illness, then please consider carefully whether to join in person or to worship with us online. See more here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-with-medical-conditions.html

We have intentionally structured this service to be a low-risk gathering, but please understand that you do assume some level of risk by coming. Therefore, we ask that if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited to a temperature, and/or have a known recent exposure to the virus, please stay home.

Online worship services continue at 10:30 a.m. on our Facebook page. Please, if you have any concerns about coming in person, we would be glad to have you join us online instead.

Bring water, sunscreen, hats with brims, portable fans or misters to stay cool; a blanket or chairs to sit on; and don’t forget your mask! Dress is casual. We want you to be comfortable.

Make an effort to use the bathroom before you come. We will have one restroom available for use, limited to one person or family at a time. You will be asked to wipe down the bathroom briefly after you use it. An usher will monitor people coming in and out, through the door by the church office.

What to expect:

Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the lawn in front of the sanctuary steps. Service will be shorter than usual, one hour or less. There will be music, but no congregational singing except for the benediction.  There will be no paper bulletins, so we encourage you to bring a smartphone or tablet and download the digital bulletin if you want to follow along.  We will not collect offering during the service, but will have a plate available for you to place your gifts inside, on your way into or out of service.

You are required to keep your mask on at all times. We will have extra masks available if you have forgotten yours, as well as hand sanitizer for your use.

Please set up your chairs and/or blanket six feet apart from other individuals or families. We will have a supply of folding chairs available for you to borrow, and will ask you to wipe them down (with materials provided) as you return them at the end of the service.

You are welcome to stay afterwards to enjoy conversation and fellowship together – but please remember to wear your mask and observe proper social distance.

In the event of inclement weather:

We will make a decision by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening about Sunday morning service. We will send out any cancellation announcements by email, and post on our church Facebook page.

If outdoor worship is canceled, we will worship online at 10:30 a.m. on our church Facebook page.

please disregard the information below.

There are not any Sunday School classes for children.

There is an online option for adults at 9:00 a.m. Sundays.

  • For Children

    Regular Programs: September-May

Weekly workshops help kids learn and explore the Bible, and strengthen their relationship with God. A new curriculum for 2019-20, "Justice Journey for Kids," celebrates the rich diversity of God's kingdom, and helps kids look at injustices and prejudices that arise in our broken world.

10:45 a.m.: Sunday worship in church for kids age 4 through grade 5

Kids sit with their parents during the early part of the service, and take part in a kid’s special message.

    11:00 a.m.: Sunday Wor-SHIP for kids age 4 through grade 5

Kids are dismissed partway through the service so they can have their own worship experience. They meet in a Wor-SHIP room decorated like the interior of a ship where they can sing, play instruments, hear Bible stories, give offerings and pray.

  • Adults

    Regular Program: September-May

    9:30 a.m.: Adult Sunday School

Our theme for 2019-20 is "As the Good Book Says." We'll discuss: How do we read the bible? What about the more difficult and challenging passages? What roles does the Bible play in our lives? Asking hard questions of Scripture, of God and of ourselves, we'll address these issues through group conversations and video presentations.
