Children

Children are an important part of Winnetka Covenant! We desire that children begin to develop a personal relationship with Jesus by learning the stories of the Bible, finding their own place in the biblical story, and experiencing God's love for them through caring relationships with adults and with their peers.

We value children's participation in worship, because they are part of our Christian community. They belong to the church, and they belong to God. While they may not participate in worship in the same ways adults do, they are growing in understanding and learning to take their places in the church family.

WCC children's programs are designed to meet children where they are at on their journey of faith and help them take the next step in ways that are appropriate for their level of development. Through Sunday school, Wednesday night programs, and retreats and events for older children, we provide a safe, caring and vibrant environment for them to grow.
