We value the participation of our children in our worship life. Our programs encourage them to find creative ways to worship that honor their unique stage of life.
Nursery care is available for infants, and classes are held for 2 & 3-year-olds during 9:30 a.m. Sunday School and during the service.
9:30 a.m.: Sunday school for infants through grade 5
Weekly workshops help kids learn and explore the Bible, and strengthen their relationship with God. Contact Linnea Johnson
10:45 a.m.: Sunday worship in church, ages 4-grade 5
Kids sit with their parents during the early part of the service, and take part in a kid’s special message. Contact Melissa Nelson
11:00 a.m.: Sunday Wor-SHIP for ages 4 through grade 5
Kids are dismissed partway through the service so they can have their own worship experience. They meet in a Wor-SHIP room decorated like the interior of a ship where they can sing, play instruments, hear Bible stories, give offerings and pray. Contact Melissa Nelson
5:30 p.m.: Wednesday supper with other church families
Families gather weekly for a delicious meal, including kid-friendly food. Contact Linnea Johnson
6:00 p.m.: Children’s choir for kids age 5 through 5th grade
Choir director Dimitri German helps kids participate in worship through song and instruments. Contact Dimitri German
6:30 p.m.: Intergenerational worship service for kids and adults
Church families get to know each other better through singing, stories, conversation, and prayer. Contact Melissa Nelson
7:00 p.m.: Art and gym activities for children
Children spend 25-minute segments playing games together in the gym and working on a Bible-centered craft. Contact Melissa Nelson
7:00 p.m.: Parent Fellowship Group
Special events and small group opportunities for young families with a focus on community building, encouraging each other in our faith and just being together. Contact Linnea Johnson
