Local Missions

  • The Friendship Center runs a food pantry and provides social services to help families in Lincoln Square, North Park, and Albany Park. Our volunteer work at the Greater Chicago Food Depository directly supports the center’s food pantry.  We also maintain an ongoing collection of non-perishable food in our church narthex, which is then delivered to the Friendship Center food pantry

  • Kingdom Covenant Church serves Chicago’s inner-city communities of Roseland, Pullman, and West Pullman. Our church helped plant this new South Side church, and provides financial support.  We have occasional joint outings with members of Kingdom Covenant and a group of WCC members attend services at Kingdom Covenant monthly.

  • Illinois Shelter and Recovery Services supports Chicago’s homeless population, focusing on substance abuse. Our church provides financial support, and one of our longtime members, John Couleur, is the executive director.
