Meet the Staff

Rev. Andrea Bowe, Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach

Serving as Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach at Winnetka Covenant Church is a joy and a privilege. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, graduated from North Park College in Chicago, and received my Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2004. After seminary I served as a chaplain resident at a hospital and long term care facility in Burnsville, Minnesota, for two years. I have been serving at Winnetka Covenant since July, 2006. I plan to be ordained in the Evangelical Covenant denomination in June, 2007.

I enjoy art, music, reading, running, biking, playing volleyball, and playing with my wonderful five-year-old son, Micah.

I am passionate about equipping and encouraging the church to:

foster relationships that overcome the isolation and loneliness that are marks of our culture;

continually grow as followers of Christ and as the body of Christ;

discover and use our unique, God-given gifts to bring glory to God and hope and healing to the world; and

be an agent of change for compassion and justice.
