The Rummage Sale is just under a month away and it’s time to get things rolling. This message will include important dates and details, along with volunteer opportunities.

First, the dates and details:

Sunday, September 7- the beginning date for dropping off your donations. Drop-off locations will include the gym stage and room 104 (Sunday School). Tables will be clearly marked and we will really appreciate if you can sort your donations accordingly. If at all possible, please wait until the 14th to bring large furniture.

Sunday, September 14- setup begins and continues through the 26th . You are welcome to come day or evening to work on setup. There will be a signboard in the gym with setup needs to help you know what to do.

Saturday, September 20- Furniture pickup day. If you have furniture that you aren’t able to transport to church on your own, we will have a truck this day to pick things up at your home. Please call the church office and leave your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and a list of what furniture items you have. We are unable to take mattresses, large tube televisions and large entertainment centers. Also, if you have any time restrictions for that day it would be helpful to know. You will be contacted prior to the day with a window of time when your pickup will occur.

Thursday, September 25- last date to bring donations.

Second, Volunteer Request:

The Rummage Sale is a huge undertaking and we need lots of help to make it happen. Our first request for help is for volunteers to head up each of our departments. Don’t worry, you will have plenty of help doing the work, but we would like to have someone take “ownership” of each sale area to assure everything goes smoothly.
